Lentils
First grown as a crop for human consumption in the Neolithic period in the Ancient Near East, lentils have been a staple of the human diet for thousands of years. Sprouting the lentils reduces the anti-nutrients, thus increasing nutritional value and digestibility. These organic sprouted lentils can be eaten raw on a salad, cooked in soup and stews, or used in other dishes. Hello plant protein!

This sprout seed has been sourced from a supplier who tests every lot for pathogen detection in the 99.999+ range. It has been sanitized in hypochlorite solution, which does not change the organic designation of the seed, and is recommended and approved by the FDA. Effluent water is tested for pathogens and no seed is released for resale until negative results are obtained.
