Why should I sprout?
Sprouts are small but mighty, and maintain a firm position as one of the world’s most powerful superfoods. Packed full of vitamins, minerals, and cancer-fighting antioxidants, sprouts are one of the most nutrient dense foods on the planet. They also happen to be delicious on pretty much everything, adding flavour and garnish to all of your favourite recipes. Sprouting at home is also the safest way to consume sprouts!
Like other food borne illnesses, such as meat and spinach, store bought sprouts which are produced on a large scale are difficult to keep free of all pathogens. Our sprout seed has been treated with a hypochlorite solution, and then tested to be negative for pathogens in the 99.999 + range. This means sprouting at home is safer—and, with supermarket sprouts as costly as $3.99/4oz, more affordable as well!
